Eng. Stoyan Manolov and Gergana Manolova from M-Gas took part in the Green Transition Forum 5.0 conference. The event was held on 17.06.2025 at Sofia Event Center.

The event’s program focused on the topic of “energy”, with the key panel discussion being “Promoting energy security, sustainability and future innovation: the role of natural gas as a transition fuel”.

The main topics of discussion were natural gas in the energy transition, strengthening regional energy security through interconnected gas networks, the role of transitional fuels – natural gas, biofuels, e-fuels, synthetic fuels, good practices for cross-border cooperation and infrastructure development, as well as the role of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for energy security and supply chains in the EU.

Among the speakers in the panel discussion were Murat Heydarov, Executive Director of SOCAR for the Balkans, Teodora Georgieva, Executive Director of ICGB, Vladimir Malinov, Executive Director of Bulgartransgaz EAD and others.

“In Bulgaria, with our strategic partners from M-Gas, we are developing the hybrid gasification project, through which we reach customers without access to the gas transmission network,” said Murat Heydarov.
